to san francisco. we'll cut you off at san mateo. tomorrow, we're going to get widespread activity. 72 degrees in livermore. low pressure system gets the push it needs to move onshore. that will bring showers for tomorrow. we aren't expecting a whole lot. stop the clock again at 4:00 p.m., starting to get closed in from the north bay and the south bay. and basically about 20% to 30% chance of seeing those showers as we head through your tuesday. then look what happens. the cold front comes through. we drop your numbers into the 60s. 68 degrees, that's it for thursday. friday and saturday, if you're looking for a warmup, looking for better beach weather, you're going to get it. 79 degrees by saturday. then as we enter into the second half of the weekend and up into next week, we're talking about a warmup. could see a return of the 90s. so make sure you meet back here with us every day at 11:00. we will have the latest for you as there's a lot to decipher this time of year, guys. it's that time. over to

it works out like this. 69 degrees in san francisco and 70 in san jose. around 75 degrees out in livermore. you will be comfortable in santa cruz at 67. i think all the action will be pointed right at san francisco. one of the reasons why, our own giants and nbc bay area is the proud home of the san francisco giants. they did it. they are in the playoffs. we got two games tonight and both teams included and the weather will hold up. dicy in detroit where the a's will be taking it to comerica park. they had a system roll through overnight. the tarps have been remove and that's a good sign. the showers are clearing and partly cloudy conditions and 7:00 p.m., it will be on. sfrin degrees and a little bit on the breezy side and nice and comfortable. as we head throughout the next couple of days, not a lot of change when it comes to the temperatures. this area of low pressure brought in a lot of cool air. we won't break out of the 70s until tuesday, wednesday, and thursday. tuesday into wednesday, that area of low pressure gets nudged over the bay area. we are

what a morning for san francisco police officers. i spoke briefly with the officer who said she was shot at. this started with a basic traffic stop on a car. that car is down the street. and the initial stop was actually just because a license plate light was out but look at that car now. the cadillac in the middle of the street. it ran the intersection and was nailed by a taxi. this is at franklin and eddy streets. eddy is blocked with the car parked and glass in the street as investigators work and look for one suspect who got away. this started around 2:00 this morning. officers tried to stop the car. the car pulls over. they believe someone inside fired at least one shot at officers. those officers are okay. they tell me then the car took off, ran a light and then got hit by a cab as it was in the intersection, but then kept going about half a block. two people inside that car jumped out and officers had to chase them on foot. >> it's a lot. it's a lot to go through. i'm still digesting it. it takes a while to have it process thr
